The Derby City Fly Fishers will host the Kentuckiana Fly Fishing Show on Sat., Jan. 31, 2009, 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. at the Holiday Inn Airport South located at 2715 Fern Valley Road. The show will include over 80 exhibits, educational seminars, and is expected to draw over 1000 men, women, and children from a vast majority of the eastern United States.
The Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA) is
currently accepting nominations for both the 2008 Business Owner of the Year
and Good Neighbor Awards. The Business Owner of the Year Award goes to a
current FABA member who is extremely involved in the local community by
supporting the programming of the other organizations and businesses along
Frankfort Avenue. The Good Neighbor Award goes to an individual who is
recognized for their work to improve the quality of life in their community.

I am a certified as an Instructor by the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training to offer classes. The goal of the class is to learn more about firearms and other "deadly weapons." After taking the course, you may be eligable to obtain your concealed deadly weapons permit allowing one to carry concealed. You may receive a certificate of training from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training after the course.
