 <title>Holiday House floral design winners announced</title>

The 32nd Annual Old Louisville Holiday House Tour announces the winners of the 2008 Floral Designer Showcase Competition. This year’s theme was “Sleigh Bells”. Each participating home entryway was professionally decorated by using sleigh bells in the design. The competition was judged by a panel of five volunteer celebrity judges. Winners will have exterior Competition Award signs displayed in the front yard during this weekend’s 32nd Annual Old Louisville Holiday House Tour – Saturday and Sunday, December 6-7, 12 noon-6 pm.

The annual Westport Village Holiday Open House event begins at 6 pm with activities planned throughout the evening.

The band is playing and Santa is coming to Historic Gaslight Square by horse drawn carriage.  Hundreds will come to explore downtown Jeffersontown and visit Santa&#039;s Village while listening to strolling carolers.  The University of Louisville Community Band and Hopewell Presbyterian Church Choir will perform from the steps of City Hall.  The entire community is invited to celebrate the season on Saturday, December 6, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Watterson Trail will be closed between 5:45pm &amp;amp; 8:15pm.*

Ride along in the trolley or stroll up and down the street visiting the many shops and businesses that are a part of this annual celebration.
