Holidazzle 2008 at The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft on West Main Street, Louisville will feature a recent series of contemprary basket sculpture by Dennis Shaffner. Woven in rattan and often embellished with buttons for color and surface design the new BIRDnest forms evolved from his signature BASKETbowl sculptures featured in the Museum Gallery on West Main. Shaffner has been represented by KMAC since 1983 and studied traditional Japanese basket making with fiber artist and author Hisako Sekijima at Brookfield Craft Center in Connecticut.

I am a certified as an Instructor by the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training to offer classes. The goal of the class is to learn more about firearms and other "deadly weapons." After taking the course, you may be eligable to obtain your concealed deadly weapons permit allowing one to carry concealed. You may receive a certificate of training from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training after the course.
